Status: Project progress report Race to Zero é uma competição estudantil anualmente promovida pelo departamento de energia dos estados unidos a fim de promover soluções sustentáveis para a construção civil. o tema escolhido para 2018 foram edifício escolares. "The UFPR model school is a project developed for the Race To Zero 2018 competition that aims to advance the technical (energy efficiency and environmental performance) and spatial stages of our public elementary school construction. The product of the competition will also serve as an incentive to Federal University of Paraná for the construction of a Net Zero school within the university campus, which will work as an incubator of innovative teaching methods and as a sustainable construction model that is economical and feasible in our reality.
